In this issue we hear from Freeman Dyson, professor emeritus of the School of Natural Sciences at the Institute for Advanced Study. A distinguished physicist, he is a fellow of the American Physical Society and the Royal Society of London, a member of the National Academy of Sciences, and a recipient of the 2000 Templeton Prize, as well as author of six books, including The Sun, the Genome and the Internet (Oxford University Press, April 1999).
